City’s Mobile Office heading to Somerset West, Durbanville and Tokai next week

06 March 2026

The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office is heading to Somerset West, Durbanville and Tokai next week to bring essential municipal services directly to residents' doorsteps. The mobile office will be at the Helderzicht Sports Complex on Thursday, 12 March 2026 and at the Durbanville Library Hall and Blue Route Mall on Friday, 13 March 2026. Residents are encouraged to skip the commute and visit the Mobile Office to resolve account queries and access City services.

The details are as follows:

  • Thursday, 12 March 2026 from 09:30 to 13:30 at the Helderzicht Sport Complex, 2 De Beers Avenue, Somerset West
  • Friday, 13 March 2026 from 10:00 to 15:00 at the Durbanville Library Hall, Corner of Oxford and Koeberg Roads, Durbanville
  • Friday, 13 March 2026 from 10:00 to 14:00 at the Blue Route Mall, 16 Tokai Road (First floor-information court area), Tokai

The City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically.

‘These mobile office visits bring essential municipal support to residents' doorsteps. This is a great opportunity for residents to resolve their non-emergency enquiries; including rates, water, electricity and refuse accounts in the comfort of their own neighbourhoods. Somerset West; Durbanville and Tokai communities, consider this your invitation. To ensure a seamless experience, we encourage residents to bring along their IDs or municipal accounts to ensure our teams can assist them with ease,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.
